Small Group Churches (SGCs) are central to the body life of the church in YCK Chapel. They provide an environment where the love of God and the life-transforming power of His Word and His Spirit can be experienced and expressed at a deeper level. We encourage all members to identify with an SGC. Visitors are also very welcome to join an SGC and connect with people from the church.
The essence of what our Small Groups are about is expressed in the acronym PAGE:
P – Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care can be experienced at various levels. In SGCs, we can care for one another by encouraging and spurring each other on in our discipleship walk. Small Group Leaders (SGLs) will help to shepherd members in their groups. They will work closely with Cluster Leaders (CLs) or Pastoral Staff to effectively care for our SGC members.
A – Authentic Relationships
We belong together in God’s household. SGCs provide the setting for building of authentic relationships. It is our desire that we can make friends and build firm relationships among brothers and sisters worshipping and serving together in this local church.
G – Growth In Discipleship
We must grow in our spiritual walk. This can happen when we follow Christ faithfully and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. We will consciously seek to encourage each other in our faith journey to understand God’s revealed Word in a SGC setting and to obey His instructions in our lives.
E – Evangelism
We work together in reaching out to others, beginning with praying for people whom the Lord has placed in our hearts. We consider how we can support each other in our outreach efforts.
Our SGCs currently meet two or three times per month in church or sometimes in homes.
All are welcome to join an SGC! For more information, go to: https://yckc.org.sg/our-worship-services/
