We believe that every child is like a seed,
poised to grow into a mighty oak tree.

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

– Deuteronomy 6:4-9 ESV –

The Deuteronomy passage contains a very clear word to parents and guardians of young children. We are to impart to children all that The Lord has commanded.  The Children Ministry partners with parents and guardians in the discipleship of our children: to bring children into the family of God, to know and worship God, to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and to learn to serve and share Jesus Christ with the world.  Our curriculum covers lessons from the Bible as well as teaching our children about God’s design for family, marriage and sexuality.

Our Children Ministry is for those from ages 2 years to 11 years. There are more than 20 teachers serving the children.

The programme runs from 9.00am to 10.15am every Sunday, and includes a time of worship, Bible lessons, arts/crafts and other activities.

Our Values

We believe that every child is a work-in-progress, and we want to journey with them in discovering their God given purpose.

We believe that a child’s personal journey with Christ begins at home, where Fathers and Mothers lead by example; supported by a community of believers.

We believe that no child is too young to be used by God as an agent of change wherever they are planted.

Online Children’s Programme by The Treasure Box

We are aware that many churches are not able to run a kids programme weekly, as such we approached The Treasure Box SG to allow us to share their weekly videos on our website. Do support them by checking out their other resources!

Everyone faces temptation – even Jesus was tempted when He was on the earth! The question is: how do we overcome temptation like He did? Join us for a powerful session as we learn about how we can say “NO!” to the devil and to our sinful desires!

Parents, we encourage you to watch this week’s episode with your kids and be ready to have authentic conversations with them about your own struggles. As a family, pray and encourage each other on your journey to defeat temptation!

If you missed Wednesday Weecap, you can catch the highlights on this week’s episode – including a snippet of our interview with Jie Jie Isabelle, the creator of Serious Rabbit!

As always, there’ll be energetic praise and worship, a fun and interactive teaching lesson, as well as a reflective and personal response activity that every child can do. Oh, and watch till the end for a fun outtake!

Parents, make sure you download the accompanying Parents’ Guide for this session!

Parents – BEFORE the video, make sure there is space in front of the device for the children to worship and participate in the activities. Try not to have the session (or your child) on a bed during the session.

DURING the video, don’t be eager to explain the points. Let your child watch through the first time uninterrupted and you can have a discussion after using our parents guide or just watch it again. Time will be allocated at the end of the session for the children to copy the main points into their notebook.

AFTER the video, you can continue to reinforce the lessons that your child has learnt using the parents’ guide, which you can refer to in the comments below, or you can download from our website.

Missed our previous sessions, or want to watch them again? All of our videos are now uploaded to https://www.thetreasurebox.sg/pages/o… so you can watch them anytime. Or subscribe to our YouTube channel (https://bit.ly/2VkJdMa) to get notified each time a new video is released.
