Children Ministry

We believe that every child is like a seed, poised to grow into a mighty oak tree.

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

Our Children Ministry is for those from ages 2 years to 12 years. There are about 25 teachers serving the children.
Our Children Ministry is now meeting in church every Sunday from 8.45am to 10.15am, and includes a time of worship, Bible lessons, arts/crafts and other activities.

Discipleship@Home

The Deuteronomy passage contains a very clear word to parents and guardians of young children. We are to impart to children all that The Lord has commanded. The Children Ministry partners with parents and guardians in the discipleship of our children: to bring children into the family of God, to know and worship God, to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and to learn to serve and share Jesus Christ with the world. Our curriculum covers lessons from the Bible as well as teaching our children about God’s design for family, marriage and sexuality. Follow the link for information on God’s Design for Sexuality.
