Sermon Title: Joy to the World
Speaker: Bishop Emeritus Dr Robert Solomon
Date: 7 Dec 2025
This sermon is part 1 of a 3-part pulpit series on The Carols of Christmas
1. Joy to the World
Discussion Reflection Question:
1. 1. Why is it important to always connect the first and second comings of
Jesus? How do they form key parts of one story? What happens when we
de-emphasise one of the two?
2. If others ask you the reason for your hope (1 Pet 3:15), how would you
answer them? How can you be ready for Christ’s second coming? Is there
a decision you need to make today?
